Our Founding Story
Our story begins with one woman's dream to create a range of clean and simple skincare products that are as effective as they are gentle.
Our founder, Lucy, a Korean woman living in Vancouver Canada, was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago, at the young age of 40. After bravely undergoing surgery, she noticed that her skin appeared to be aging faster, and that she was beginning to experience more skin challenges as she went through radiation and hormone therapy. Wanting to avoid using harsh chemicals on her already sensitive skin, Lucy and her husband set out on a mission to develop natural and non-toxic skincare products that would help her heal and feel beautiful again. They strongly believed that using premium, toxin-free, all-natural ingredients would make for the most effective, safe and gentle skincare products possible.
After much research, sample testing, and collaboration with experts from a Seoul-based Korean cosmetic laboratory, the first Petite Pluie products were born. Combining the superior quality of natural, vegan ingredients with cutting-edge K-beauty technology, they were able to harness the power of both nature and technology to develop the most innovative formulas, designed to address a wide range of skin concerns with simple yet powerful solutions.
